How do we ever express the overwhelming gratitude of such an amazing event. The details and the fun were news worthy and did not go unnoticed. We are so very appreciative of ALL the service that brought so many of our friends and family together. What an incredible testament of the family community in which we live. Davis County has incorporated our last three homes, from Syracuse to Farmington and then Kaysville. What strong cities. Davis County is a beautiful area, full of beautiful people. We are incredibly blessed to live within the loving reach of so many. Thank you for your giving and compassionate service.
We loved the entertainment, the run, the food, the cars, the fun. The boys seemed to have a blast at the Blaze football camp. The players, coaches and owners could not have been more generous with their time and talents. Ben has sworn that he will never wash the hand that was shook by the players...ever! The DHS football team also deserves kudos for their efforts. We love you all.
All the connections that came together are so incredible.
CJ and his Eagle project blood drive sounds like from the preliminary counts broke the record for the most people to donate in one day. How amazing is that! What a great service for all the children at Primary Children's Hospital. I know I can speak for at least all the mom's, they love you for your blood donation.
Way to go CJ!
When first approached a few weeks back, and asked if they could do a "little" something for Davis, we could not have ever imagined the gathering of minds that unfolded on Friday and Saturday. The Distance for Davis committee is a force of great good. We are there to sign up to be the first to wear the green shirts for the next person. Paying it forward will be our forever quest.
Thank you not only for everything that was seen, but also all the behind the scenes efforts and prayers. The stories that have been floating around have brought tears to my eyes and so much love to our hearts. We hear of so many with their prayers and want you to know that our kids also have been praying for you...blessing "all the people that are helping us." I have been so happy to get the reports that it felt like a party and celebration.
The impact that this immense token of love has had on our family will live forever in our hearts.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!XOXO,
Jeff, Gayle, Courtney, Davis, Ryan, Ben and Emily Cox
