12 hour days!

Once again a lot can happen in a 12 hour time period. We began a day with a trip to the dentist. Fairly successful with cleanings, two small cavities and toys from the prize drawer. Ben usually makes it out with two trips to the drawer for making it through without bolting! Dr. Wall and Ben have had a deal since an experience when Ben was five...They will NOT hold him down or put the clamp in his mouth, if he will try hard to sit still... no thrashing or jumping off the chair. (They do however, secretly close the doors to the room as to NOT scare off the other patients) The visual of the dental scene in Finding Nemo comes to mind.

Home for ten (laundry)then off to an ENT check-up. Davis' stomach continues to act out and by the time we go to PCMC, we were met with a wheelchair and valet parking to head up to the clinic for IV fluids and meds.

The absolute best news of the day was when ENT cleared Davis' sinus' of any fungus at this time. What a blessing. He continues to heal and they will follow up in another 3 months as a precaution.

Back to clinic to see GI(stomach) specialist. Down to x-ray. Up to clinic. Given a GI medication regimen prescribed...Everything that follows with this is just TMI to list!

Home to see Ben in his first football scrimmage game. Those tree-trunk calves were built for this sport!

Delivery from Home health. (laundry) Given instructions for the next round of fluids and pumps etc.
Home on IV fluids and meds for a few days. To be cont....

Everyday we meet new people that inspire and bless us. From other patients in the hospital, to people expressing their experiences in praying for Davis. We love you all and pray and fast for you and yours.

The world is a different kind of beautiful while in the midst of adversity!
