Our big dream of being on a boat again came true this past month thanks to some generous friends! We love you Pearsons! We had been planning this trip since 2011 waiting for labs to come up. Unfortunately labs decided to go down just prior to the scheduled trip. Davis was given the option to go with restrictions or not go.
GO and DO!
He asked if he could get on the boat and the Doctor said, "yes, just don't tip it over!" Although Davis could not get in the water, he was a good sport, had fun driving the boat and passed the time by creating games of throwing jellybeans, grapes and carrots to(
or at) those on the tube behind the boat. Wanting to provide him with a bit of fun to maintain emotional sanity, I got on the wave runner with him and he drove us around the lake. I leaned forward and asked him, "what do you think Dr. Verma would say if she could see you?"..."Don't tip it!" Even with some restrictions, we were able to have a blast boating, playing games, target shooting and four wheeling.

The rain hit and hit hard, but we were grateful for it lowering the dust in the air!
PULL!
When you have a burst of energy, GO run on the tredmill. Made it 1.4 miles today...endurance may be lowered, but not the will! Check the air particulate and hemoglobin blood levels and GO play v-ball! Need to eat protein and red meat...GO to RubyRiver for a 9 oz. filet with all the fixings!

A planned family trip to the cabin at Palisades was altered just a bit due to the need to stay close to medical care if needed. Although we prefer to travel all together, Jeff, Ryan, Ben and Emily were able to enjoy a weekend at the cabin (thanks grandma and grandpa Cox). Feeding the resident squirrels, hiking, a trip to Jackson Hole, roasting marshmallows and games are always a fun time. The best is picking berries followed by Jeff's famous huckleberry or service berry pancake breakfast!
